In the book Musings. About Art, Body and Religion I want to involve those interested in art and religion in my search for the connecting link between the two: the paradox of vulnerability and power. My interactive installations, 2D and 3D stereoscopic and holographic artworks reflect this journey of discovery.
The book consists of ten chapters about as many works of art. It begins with the foreword by Aaron Rosen, PhD, professor of Religion & Visual Culture and director of the Henry Luce III Center for the Arts & Religion, Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C., USA.
Each chapter consists of four short articles, starting with an expert consideration of a work of art. Then I write about ‘how and why’ a particular work of art came into being, followed by thematic articles related to the work such as: care for nature, physicality, suffering, painful beauty, desire, sources of inspiration, relationships and death.
